The Ukrainian national soccer team has acquired a sponsorship arrangement with an industry player. This crypto exchange is seeking to engage fans and promote cryptocurrency use. Whitebit Exchange will serve as the team’s cryptocurrency partner for the next three years under the terms of the arrangement.

Whitebit Exchange Aims to Grow the Cryptocurrency Community in Ukraine by Engaging Soccer Fans

This European cryptocurrency exchange with Ukrainian origins has entered into a multiyear collaboration with the Ukrainian national soccer team. According to the agreement, the team will display company’s logo during the team’s matches. It was reported by Forklog, citing the company.

“We are on the same playing field as football fans. We are ecstatic to announce our relationship with the Ukrainian National Football Team. It will allow us to support Ukrainian sports and grow the Ukrainian crypto community. Whitebit wrote in a blog post.

Whitebit will serve as the team’s official crypto partner through 2026. During this time, the exchange will host various entertaining and educational events for blockchain enthusiasts and fan competitions at the House of Football in Kyiv.

The objective is to engage soccer fans in cooperative ventures to encourage the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine’s sports industry and throughout the country. In recent years, the nation in Eastern Europe has positioned itself as a regional leader in cryptocurrency usage.

Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion, Ukraine’s humanitarian and defense activities have been funded by various coin donations. Whitebit and Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, were among the companies that offered assistance.

“We are optimistic that, due to our relationship, even more people will discover cryptocurrencies. Their convenience and accessibility” said Volodymyr Nosov, the CEO of Whitebit, a company headquartered in Lithuania.

It is not Whitebit’s first attempt in the football world. The exchange became an official partner of the Spanish soccer powerhouse Barcelona in December 2022. Emphasizing that its partners’ primary objective is to draw their followers to the newest technologies. Gearing all of its efforts toward promoting cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
